What are DogeHeadz?
DogeHeadz are art images in 32×32 pixels in the likeness of a Shiba Inu dog. There are 420 in total, each with it’s own unique colors, accessories and style. The background color identifies the rank.
They fall into four ranks:
- Common – 210 DogeHeadz
- Rare – 120 DogeHeadz
- Hero – 60 DogeHeadz
- Legend – 30 DogeHeadz
Some have features that are more rare than others and some are theme based. There is even an alien and plant DogeHead!
What are non-fungible tokens (NFTs)?
Non-fungible tokens are similar to cryptocurrencies in that the ownership of them exists on the blockchain. However, they are different in that each minted NFT is unique from all others.
Why are they sold in stages?
DogeHeadz are sold in stages in order for their value to increase over time. Just like Bitcoin has halving cycles where the mining reward is cut by 50%, newly minted DogeHeadz available will decrease in quantity over time, allowing those in the market to become more valuable. That way your investment in DogeHeadz is more likely to increase in value overtime.
How will DogeHeadz be promoted?
Below are the stages for getting the word out about DogeHeadz:
- August 12 and onward – Several promoters on Twitter will be promoting DogeHeadz through their accounts (10k-700k followers).
- 10% of DogeHeadz proceeds will be reinvested into marketing (initially this may be higher).
- When 50% of Stage 1 assets are sold, we will auction off certain reserved DogeHeadz to charity.
- Once 50% of Stage 3 assets are sold, we will auction off certain reserved DogeHeadz to charity.
- After 50% of Stage 5 assets are sold, we will auction off certain reserved DogeHeadz to charity.
How can I own a DogeHead?
Simple! You’ll need to get a wallet, with a Chrome plugin, such as MetaMask. Top your account with some Ether. Then go to opensea.io/collection/dogeheadz to see what is available. Make sure you are logged into your MetaMask and you should be able to make purchases.
What are DogeHeadz doing for the community?
An additional 15% of all initial DogeHeadz sale proceeds will be donated to Watsi.org every 2 weeks when the amount owed exceeds 0.5 ETH (in order to reduce gas costs – the fee for sending Ether). Watsi is an organization that helps children around the world who are born with disabilities to receive treatment or surgery.
Additionally, eight DogeHeadz are reserved for a charity auction donation.
How can I confirm donations are being made?
All donations are made over the Ethereum blockchain. This is a public ledger, so anyone can confirm the transactions. We have a page where a link to all donation transactions made so far are conveniently located.
What DogeHeadz are “Reserved” and what does that mean?
As mentioned above, 8 of the 13 reserved DogeHeadz are allocated for charity auction.
One additional Santa DogeHead will be auctioned 30 days before Christmas in 2022.
Four additional DogeHeadz, are reserved for the DogeHeadz team and include Morpheus (Legend), Neo (Hero), Trinity (Hero) and Sergio (Common).
What benefits are there for DogeHeadz owners?
Each DogeHead owner is entitled to:
- Three(3) complimentary resizes of their asset, to keep a crisp, pixelated appearance.
- Heightened privileges and role in our Discord server.
- Heightened privileges and role in our Telegram Group.

What happens when all DogeHeadz are sold?
When you purchase a DogeHead, you’re free to keep it or put it up for sale at a higher price on the Open Sea Market Place. If you keep it, NFT collectors may send you offers for your asset on Open Sea. Be sure to check in often to see if any good offers await.
Which DogeHeadz are more rare?
DogeHeadz have three dimensions by which one can determine rarity.
- Rank(i.e. Legend, Hero, Rare, Common)
- Color
- Features
Rank and Features tend to overlap. For instance, a DogeHead with high rank tends to have more features or more rare features. There are, however, some exceptions to the rule. You can go on Open Sea to filter DogeHeadz by various features by clicking on “Filter” and selecting the options you wish to filter by.
